Homemade Granola
INGREDIENTS:

3 cups oats

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 sliced almonds

1/2 cup nuts of choice (chopped)

1/2 cup desiccated coconut

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 tbsp olive oil

optional: 1/2 cup dried fruit of choice

  1. Preheat oven to 160 C.

  2. In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients.

  3. In a small saucepan (double boiler if possible) heat honey and olive oil over low heat.

  4. Add honey-oil liquid to the bowl of dry ingredients and mix well.

  5. Spread the mixture out on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  6. Stir frequently while toasting (approx. 15 minutes).

  7. Store in an airtight glass jar.
